After much hard work over the past few months, we
are pleased to now be able to welcome you to the new Standrin web
site.
We have a large number of plans for the site for
coming year, including the introduction of a wealth of unique functionality
to enable our clients to rapidly source or commission works of
art, antiques, unique objects of design and lifestyle accessories
that cater even for the most discerning amongst us!
Whilst browsing our site you will find items dating from the 18th
century through to the present day.
Vintage and quirky bespoke pieces of furniture and accessories
can be found nestling stylishly alongside vibrant works of contemporary
art, together which allow you create your own individual approach
to modern living.

Zoe de L'Isle Whitttier
We have a number of fantastic, one-off pieces in Carrara marble
by the international sculptress Zoe de L'Isle Whitttier.
Zoe's work is inspired by the natural world and the change of
the seasons and appeals to a wide audience.

Les Thorne - Woodturner
For those of you who are looking for something that is perhaps
more suitable to the smaller budget, or those who are perhaps seeking
an original gift then our wood-turnings by Les Thorne may be just
right for you. Les' work is of a remarkably high standard.

Brand-X Art
A point most certainly worthy of note is that BrandX-Art with
their bespoke and unique furniture and lighting are currently exhibiting:
Pie Scroll Lisa
BrandX-Art recently collected a trophy for winning the public
vote of Art
Vaults [Season 4].
Their creations are unique, visually interesting, and exciting.
Well worth a look!
J.A. Lowe
Also currently showing, we have the new "Steel
Sculpture" by James A Lowe of Twisted Art.
James is fresh out of the Winchester School of Art,
having recently received his MA.
Suzi-Q
Every quarter the gallery hosts a featured artist exhibition,
where you can view and purchase the works of new, exciting and
inspirational local artists.
The current featured artist is Suzi-Q. Her show, "Raw Edge",
continues until 30th January 2009.
Suzi's work is exciting a growing number of individuals who are
looking to make a long term investment. In the current economic
climate, investment in art may be a wise thing, especially for
our overseas clients.
Suzi is the subject of a 2 page interview in The Wessex
Muse Magazine [Jan/Feb 2009 Issue #42].

Carolyn Townsley
The next featured artist will be Carolyn Townsley, starting with
an invitation-only preview evening on Saturday 7th February 2009
from 6pm 10pm.
The exhibition will continue until Saturday 2nd
May 2009.
