Zoe de L'Isle Whittier
As we move through the woods, unseen birds and animals watch us.
Early one morning, the ground covered in frost, ash leaves fell around me as I carved my stone. I picked one up and drew it on the stones side.
My sculpture beckons one silently to the place where I feel a sense of calm.
"I live in the mountains and my work results from the contemplation of nature... My work is more and more to do with the cycles of nature.
"Above all, I love being myself and watching the seasons change."
